Software Engineer
Position Overview:
Lead teams in developing quality software in an Agile software development environment. Address new technical challenges and deliver well-designed, high-quality software effectively and consistently. Help define the technical direction of our web and mobile enterprise services and products. Demonstrate proven technical leadership and individual contributor skills, including experience with software development principles and practices such as OO design, SOA, version management and testing.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of the software life-cycle, including definition, design, implementation, testing, and delivery.
- Lead projects to deliver software in response to the business and technical requirements of clients.
- Address challenging problems by contributing to the design of effective approaches and solutions aligned with eSavV processes and technical strategy.
- Enforce code reviews, best practices and adherence to standards.
- Mentorship and hands-on training for associate developers.
Qualifications:
- BS+ Computer Science or similar.
- 5+ years experience in software development.
- Strong skills in object-oriented design, UML, SOA and programming development.
- Proficient in several languages including PHP and C++, C#, or Java.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Experience mentoring other engineers.
- Excellent communication skills.
