Project Manager
Position Overview:
Serve as an I.T. liaison to provide business analysis, process methodologies and management to the software design, development and engineering teams across different projects, departments and branches. Assemble and manage cross-functional teams to address design, development and QA needs.
Work with clients to identify strategic technology solutions to meet client objectives and goals. Manage the delivery of client software solutions that align with the overall client business strategy, timeframe and budgets. Work closely with all resources for SDLC implementation on projects utilizing advanced web and mobile technology.
Identify opportunities to improve development processes and solve technology problems or issues. Communicate options, benefits, and recommendations to supporting technology teams.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and assist the business in the prioritization of IT projects, initiatives, and needs (short-term and long-term).
- Gather, plan, manage, and communicate business requirements through strong knowledge of the relevant business and technical area, collaborate with client sponsors and with all project participants and teams. Provide analysis of new opportunities, and problem resolution using Agile development methodologies.
- Manage one or more projects through the entire system development life cycle.
- Own the project plan, including project schedule, team, budget, and business case.
- Drive and facilitate development of business and functional requirements.
- Facilitate and provide input to solution design.
- Schedule, coordinate, and manage the testing phase and deployment phases.
- Provide support for existing processes and technological solutions throughout your business area in conjunction with IT technical resources.
Qualifications:
- BS+ degree in CIS, Information Technology, Management or similar.
- 8+ years experience, including at least 2 years in business process and project management.
- PMP certification preferred.
